jobs around the house become difficult to do and you need just
a little extra help. North Ottawa County Council on Aging has
a program for you – Helping Hands.

NOCCOA interviews
applicants and performs a criminal background check on them. If
they are selected to be included on our approved list, their name,
price they charge, and contact information will be added.
You tell NOCCOA what you need and we give you the appropriate list.
You can then contact names on the list and hire whom you like for
the length of time you need. You pay them directly, not through
NOCCOA.
NOCCOA can help you hire someone if you would like. For a fee, a
staff person will sit with you during interviews and even conduct
the reference checks. You still hire the person you like, but we
are right beside you all the way.
