Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers enable the North Ottawa County Council on Aging to provide more and better programs to people 60 and older. Volunteers do a variety of things including: driving for home delivered meals or doctors appointments, presenting travelogues, answering phones, helping assemble monthly newsletters, helping with crafts, playing the piano for sing-alongs, sharing information on topics important to this age group (wills, estate planning, arthritis, etc.), leading exercise classes, preparing donated phones for distribution, calling Bingo, helping with meal serving, serving on the advisory committee, being a greeter/ambassador at the center or special events, and many more.

We would welcome you to volunteer your time with us. Please print and fill out the attached form and return it to the Volunteer Coordinator, NOCCOA, 18 N. Fifth St., Grand Haven, MI 49417.
